Growing up as a motocross racer Jarryd’s dream was always to come to America for racing. After moving to freestyle motocross he came to America for his whips and stylish fmx tricks. Last year Jarryd decided to fulfill his dream of racing a round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championships. He qualified for both of the two rounds he entered with a 25th overall at Washougal and a 29th overall at Utah. Jarryd has had a very busy year so far. Still enjoying the glow of his first gold medal for Best Whip at X-Games, Jarryd has been keeping sharp having already performed in over thirty-five Nitro Circus shows worldwide this year.

With the recent support of Yamaha Motor Corp, Jarryd will be riding a 2016 YZ250F. Jarryd seemingly cannot wait, “I just picked up my 2016 YZ250F last Tuesday and the bike is a beast right out of the crate. I am very thankful for the support from Yamaha and am excited to race it at Washougal.”
